Squatopia 2 is a hands-only fitness adventure game for Meta Quest and Meta VR Glasses. This policy explains what the game does with information about you. The short version: the game has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no crash reporting. Your hand and eye tracking stay on your headset. Information leaves your headset only if you choose to join an online room.
The game saves your progress and settings on your headset: islands visited and beaten, inventory, favors and achievements, gloves, mini-game levels and records, difficulty and audio settings. This data never leaves your headset and we never receive it. Uninstalling the game deletes it.
The game reads your hand positions and finger joints from the headset’s hand tracking, as the controls (reaching, raising a hand, palm sweeps, claps, pinches). It uses them frame by frame, on your headset, and does not store them. They are not sent anywhere, except your avatar’s head and hand positions in an online room (section 4).
On devices with eye tracking (Meta VR Glasses, Meta Quest Pro), and only if you allow eye tracking when the system asks, the game uses your gaze direction to tell which button you are looking at, so you can select it with a pinch or tap. Gaze is used on your headset, frame by frame, only for this; it is never stored, never sent over the network, never shared and never used for advertising, profiling or analytics. If you decline or your device has no eye tracking, the game uses your head direction instead. You can turn eye tracking off at any time in your headset’s settings.
Single-player is fully offline. If you press Connect at a dock to play with others, the game uses Unity Gaming Services (Unity Technologies) to sign in and connect you:
We do not store any of this on our own servers (we have none). Unity processes it as our service provider under its privacy policy: https://unity.com/legal/privacy-policy. Rooms end when the last player leaves.
Voice chat is off: the game does not ask for or use your microphone.
Meta operates the Meta Horizon Store and your headset; Meta’s handling of your data (your Meta account, payments, device data) is covered by Meta’s own privacy policy: https://www.meta.com/legal/privacy-policy/.
To check that your copy of the game is genuine, and to sell, grant and restore in-game purchases and the island subscription, the game uses Meta’s Platform SDK. Through it the game receives from Meta your Meta user ID for this app and the list of your purchases in this game (which item, when, and when a subscription ends). Payments are handled entirely by Meta: the game never sees your payment details. The game keeps a record of the purchases it has granted on your headset, so each purchase is granted once; this record is not sent to us or to anyone else. The game does not request your profile, friends or any other Meta platform data.
The game is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age for a Meta account in your country). It does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has used online rooms and want their anonymous ID deleted, contact us.
Online traffic to Unity’s services is encrypted in transit. Nothing else leaves your headset.
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or the CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information and to object to its processing. Since the only personal information processed outside your headset is the anonymous Unity ID and connection data of online rooms, contact us with any request and we will answer within 30 days.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date. Material changes will also be noted in the game’s release notes.
